COVID-19

We are committed to ensuring the safety of all visitors, staff and volunteers at The Yare Gallery.

We are closely following the latest public health guidance and have undertaken all necessary measures to ensure that we are Covid-secure.

Will I need to wear a face covering in The Yare Gallery?

  • It is no longer mandatory under UK law, but we ask that visitors continue to wear a face covering in indoor gallery spaces, out of consideration to fellow visitors and staff (unless medically exempt).

  • If you arrive without a face covering, we will be able to provide you with a disposable mask.

  • All staff and volunteers will be provided with appropriate PPE.

What do I need to do for Test and Trace?

  • The Test and Trace QR code will be displayed at both entrances and we encourage all visitors to ‘check in’ on the NHS COVID-19 contact tracing app. If you are unable to do this, you can provide us with your contact details.

What cleaning and safety procedures are in place?

  • We have introduced an enhanced cleaning regime in the Gallery.

  • Social distancing guidance will be signposted throughout the Gallery.

  • Hand sanitiser stations are available on every floor.

As per Government guidance you should not leave your home or visit the Gallery if any of the following conditions apply:

  • You are displaying any symptoms of coronavirus (a high temperature, a continuous cough or a loss of sense of smell or taste).

  • You are waiting for the result of a coronavirus test.

  • You tested positive for coronavirus within the last 14 days.

  • You live with someone who has symptoms, is waiting for a test result or has tested positive in the last 10 days.
